Is the stock 88 n/a transmission compibile with the later model engine 90-96 enine n/a? if not what of the turbo model?

Since the block design changed, I'm pretty sure that the older model tranny's won't line up.

Heres the easiest way to find out... Call the service department at Nissan, and ask them. If they cant tell you, ask them for the service procedure for removing the 90na tranny, and the 88na. Then compare the two bolt paterns, and see. If you really have your heart content set on this conversion, you can have a machine shop mach up an adapter. Good luck, peace
