I agree, it was one of the hottest selling cars during its era. And thousands are still performing well on the road today. We should have our own Achieva sub. Write the president -i mean Bush!!!

Check this out!!!

Hey check this thread out and you will notice that I have already got this idea rolling with the mods. I have contacted several mods and they will probably start a forum for Acheiva owner with the next round of adding them to the site. Follow this link Achieva forum Send your request also and add to the thread to let the mods know you really feel one is needed here for Achieva owners.

Good luck
Killer

achieva input wanted

I've experienced the ususal problems with my 96 Achieva --- I'm replacing d/s power window motor for 2nd time, have had alternator and brake problems, but over all, the car's been really good to me. Now, I'm having some type of "coding" problem, where the car's security system thinks it's being stolen and quits running after I start it up. My mechanic said I need to have it re-coded at the dealership. The dealership is now up to $800 in just parts for the ignition system. AARRGGHHH. Anyone else seeing anything like this??

My car only has 54000 miles on it, and I don't really want to get a new car, but am I kidding myself at this point? Is it worth it to keep it?
