Question for flatrater

What's up, I have a 98 Blazer 4wheel drive. I get a humming noise in the r/f in 2 wheel drive goes away in 4 wheel drive, its not the wheel bearing!! Any problems you know of, or is it considered normal? It does'nt always happen either, hot or cold makes no difference!!!! Thanks Glenn

Re: Question for flatrater

Does it go away when you press the 4hi button? I had a problem like that long time ago, the dealer found a 4x4 actuator that was half sticking the front axle into place. Cost like $150 to replace.

Re: Re: Question for flatrater

If I get a chance I'll look for that bill, it should have the GM part number.
