Extended warranty?
I have a 2001 Impala LS with 22500 miles on it. Warranty expires February/2004. Is it worth getting an extended warranty for $1500 to give me 6 years or 48000miles? Car has not given me much trouble so far.
Your thoughts? |

Hello,
I'm not sure whether or not it is worthwhile to get a warranty (that's what I'm here to find out) but I did get a quote from continental warranty for my 2003 impala for a 7 year/100,000 mile warranty for $1350. If I were you I'd shop around a little more. Based on what I've read here on the forums, though, I think I'm going to go ahead and get the warranty. -Matthew |

Re: Extended warranty?
i'd look around but its always a good idea for an extended warranty. make sure you keep all records of maintaince/repairs to cover yourself in case warranty work is necessary. even home repairs keep receipts.
