Which diff? I'm assuming Speed Design, since thats the most sensible option. You dont need anything to upgrade it, just send it to SD and they will do the work and send it back. Years ago thier website was www.rothbuilt.com/speeddesign, hopefully it still is. They get my highest recomendation, and I could go on for paragraphs about Jeff and how he took care of business when I broke one of those (only one to break, lol). Youre question was a bit vague, so I'm not sure I've answered it.

yea i guess i was, i am saving my money to buy dsmlink and the install kit for my 14b and a ACT 2600# clutch, all so i can start drag racing. i was concerned that my center differential/transfer case might not like the abuse of putting runs down at the track. with those additional mods i will finally start making some power, and was wondering if it will be a problem. i hope that this clears up what i was asking and i will check out that link you gave. thanks.

will i need to upgrade the LSD's in the car at all?

The only thing you should upgrade is the center diff. The tcase will last forever if you arent running a solid center diff (welded diff, spool, welded VC or VC Eliminator, etc). The front and rear diffs are strong. And to be honest people have run stock center diffs well into the 11s. The key point to keep in mind is wheelhop. I destroyed a center diff on the t25 running mid 14s So if you dont wheel hop you are usually fine. The risk you are taking though is this. If the diff does break, pieces of it may get out and dstroy the rest of the tranny. In my case I was lucky, it broke into big pieces that stayed inside the center diff case. My friend (Joe G on POSR) wasnt so fortunate. His broke, and wreaked havoc inside the rest of the tranny before he hit the end of the track. I believe it was a 2100 dollar buildup by sheppard, thanks to all the damage, while a typical shep rebuild might be closer to 1400 with the same upgrades. So if that happens, it hurts the wallet. The choice is yours. Avoid wheelhop like the plague...

I think my suspension upgrade did more for wheel hop than motor mounts did. But that was like 4 years ago, and its all a vague distant memory A big part of it is also launching style. I tend to slip the clutch a lot making for a very gentle launch, fast as it may be. Any time you dump the clutch the shock could begin the wheelhop cycle.
