I purchased a 2004 sexy silverado in november with a manual drivers seat. My problem is that my girlfriend cant see over the steering wheel to drive it. Is it possible for me to replace the manual seat with a power drivers seat? And if so how much do you think it would cost and what type of place would do it?

Re: replacing drivers seat
I am working on this now with my 2001 silverado. I went to www.car-parts.com and found a used pwr seat track and ordered it. I then got it and it does not have the buttons to control it so I ordered that from the dealer down the road. I have not put it in yet because I don't have the control buttons yet. There is a question of wether or not the power cables will be located under the seat or not because the truck was stock manual seat. I guess I will see when I pull the seat out. I hope the wires are there because I have no clue how to run the wires to the fuse box.
