Gear/Transmission noise
My 2500HD 6.0/4.10 transmission is making a noise but only in first gear. It is a whining or singing type of sound.
The dealership I bought it from says that it's a characteristic of this transmission and it's called planetary noise. Can anyone confirm this? If it is normal, how loud should it be?
