Re: Are chikara headers any good?

Header...not headers. We have an inline 4 cylinder, only one header, not a set. I don't know how well they work, try searching. I'm guessing you get what you pay for but who knows. Let us know how it works when u get it.

he could've meant plural as in this line of headers...

like "have you tried Chikara's headers?"

but yes, on our cars its singular and header. I really like the chikara torkstep version.. if anything, i would get it seeing as how it is a lot cheaper than a DC normal header and it is stepped with that equalizer tube..

Re: Are chikara headers any good?

Yeah he could of...oh well. No harm meant for it, was just saying cuz i figured someone would have said that. I'm sure their not that had of a header, i mean for only 120 for a header its a good deal. Like i said...let us know how it is when/if u get it.

I had a chikara header. For the price I think they're pretty good, nice mid-range, decent top end improvement. That was the cheap one, not the torque step.

Re: Are chikara headers any good?

Chikara(hedman hedders) is a decent header for the $$$$. Thats the most i'd spend on a header, I mean c'mon what the difference between that one & DC? A whole 2HP possibly. . .

...and an extra 200-300 dollars depending on ceramic coated or stainless steel.

i'd go for the $189 tork step header if i was you.

It has features that make it worth $200, and although i've had very very good experience with the DC header line, I think a tork step would be better

Re: Are chikara headers any good?

I have the cheap ass Chikara. It does the job. It comes unpainted so I sprayed it with some high temp flat black. Seemed to do ok. It hasn't rusted up real bad or anything. It's ok until I can afford a better header.

im on my 2nd chikara...i see no problem with them.

noticeable power gain, emmisions legal, good fitment.

why the fuck should i pay $200 more just so my header can say "dc sports" on it? doesnt matter..b/c all headers end up looking the same after 6 months anyways. i had my first one wrapped with thermal tape, but this one i left as-is...i plan on 86'ing it when the turbo goes in.

go for the basic chikara...you cant beat the price.
