Question Best Air Filter?

Simply which air intake is the best?

K&N Injection Air Filter
Weapon R Dragon Air Filter
Greddy/Trust Air Filter?
AEM Air Filter
and all other air intake//filter systems

If its for a turbo eclipse I like the dejontool intake with a K&N injection air filter.

i think the home depot intake is the best. $20 and it will flow as much as any of the ones you listed. can of flat black paint and it doesnt look to bad.

EDIT>>> with a 9" K&N cone filter just under $80 total

If speaking about the filter element specifically then K&N makes the best filter elements. Never buy some cone air filter from Car Quest or any other generic one. A fellow DSMer did that because he accidentally drove over his K&N and the metal button looking thing on the end of it popped off while at high way speed and got sucked into the turbo. Needless to say that cost much money because of skimping on a filter.

No matter what kind of piping you have, do yourself a favor and buy a K&N.

The general rule for DSMs is K&N. People runs 9s on them. Faster than that and most guys arent using a filter, though I wonder what shep does. You wont find the ricer brand filters on the fast cars.
