Yes, I can help you. Fans don't move without motors. Motors make humming sounds when you turn them on to high speeds.

No, but really, I'd check to make sure the fans aren't stuck by debris. The motor may be going out. What kind of humming noise is it? Is it very loud? How close is it to the original sound of the motor?

probably just some dust in the fan blades.. get a hold of a 90 PSI or higher compressor, and a piece of hose to stick in the air inlets, and blast away... be ready for dust in the face... also helps to keep your AC from blowing dust as much when you turn your car on in the summer... Plus that should help a bit reatable fabricewith the dust problem, best bet would be to take the fans out and clean them.... go to your local VIP, Auto Zone, or Auto supply store and get the manual for your year car, and( about $14) and look up the ventilation system, and how to take it out/ dismantle it.... should be able to do it all yourself from there, and take a good rag/cotton swabs to the fan, and housings.. and blast the air hoses/vents..to prevent it in the future, go to a local fabric store, and find some breathable fabric and cover the intake of the fan (lightly you still want airflow) kinda like a filter... If you can get filter element stuff, then use that.. that should help a lot....
