I'm curious, would the ECU would fit under the passenger seat?

Just incase someone wanted to move it... ?

hahahahaha, yeah good point.

Well say someone did an engine swap, and used the electromotive computer. For the first week or more of the cars life, you'd probably be driving around with a laptop in the car to fine tune the settings, and you obviously don't want to walk all the way to the back of the car to do that.

So assuming you're starting from new, would an ECU fit under there?

i have done an engine swap... a jdm rev2 3sgte into my mk1. it would probably be easier to run the cables/wires from the laptop through the car and back to the trunk. if you moved the ecu up to the frount, you will have an insane amount of wires to both move and reconnect correctly. just route the computer's link up. trust me, you don't wanna do the extra wiring work.
