I got an upgrade kit for my 04 Taco and found the wire to disco to enable the alarm featur. I am having trouble finding the connector to plug in the LED Display/Glass sensor. Any help would be greet.

Hey Mystic, I'll trade ya. I found the connector for the Display/Glass sensor, but couldn't find the wire to enable the alarm.

The connector for the display is actually tucked up behind the center console. It's taped to another harness and is a bit of a pain to get down. just removed the center console and unplug the two power ports. If you follow the cable for the power ports with your hand, you'll bump in to the connector up behind the dash. Just untape the connector and it will have plenty of length to reach the center console.

Now, if you could tell me where the enable wire is.......:-)

Thanks!

Ed

Thank you. I will take a look later today. If you take off the panel under the steering column there is a small connector called the P1 connector. I will take a picture ASAP and send it to you also you can email [email protected] with a fax number and the will send you the instructions that clearly display the one you looking for but not mine. Thanks again for the reply any question let me know.

Thanks for the reply. I went back and looked again, and discovered the P1 connector right where it was supposed to be.....must have looked there a dozen times before. Guess I was just frustrated about the display connector...go figure. Anyway, I now have a fully functional RS3200+ for $400 less than the dealer would have charged me.

Thanks much!

Ed

I am having the same problem and don't know where to look or what to look for (color, size, shape) for this mysterious P1 that isn't mentioned in the installation guide (for the entire system). Any help locating the connector would be appreciated.
