Brakes? Something Else?

Just a quick question...lately (ever since I've had an alignment) my car seems to "shake" a bit when I apply the brakes...mainly in the steering wheel is where I feel it...it is only at high speeds (50mph+) and I am starting to really press on the brake to slow down...ie, gearing down from 5th to 4th and so on.

What could this be?
Can I fix this myself ?
Difficulty level?

Thanks,

Jason

Check the runout on your rotors. It may be time for some new ones if their warped.

Sounds like warped rotors to me. Time to get some Brembo blanks, and EBC Greenstuff pads...

Rotate your tires. I get a lot of vibration in my steering wheel about every 3,000 miles. Seems that around the time I need my oil changed my tires also need to be rotated and the vibration is gone. Simple and cheap enough .. hope it works
