First of all you need a host for your image(s). Try http://www.uploadit.org (which has a 5 per day max), or try http://www.stranglethecat.com (but its down atm, up on the first of Januray).
Next, you just click the image icon when posting a reply/starting a thread. You then type in the URL of the image you uploaded (provided by Strange the Cat, etc.). It is then done, just post your message/thread and your pics should be visible. Another way you can do this is by just typing "[img]" at the beggining of the URL of your image, and "[/img]" at the end. Example:
