Traction, Traction who's got the Traction?

I have no idea what I may have done to my poor little Aurora but i lost traction control. When I start the car it's fine, until I get going about 20 mph then the "Traction Off" Light comes on, and there appears to be no traction because I am smoking the hell out of these tires :P Any Ideas on what i may have done? or better yet how I can fix it! I like to keep you guys on your toes....

Do you try to smoke the hell out of the tires ? You driving on ice or what ? You can avoid spinning the wheels with out Traction Control just take it easy on the gas . Does the A.B.S. light come on ? Could be a wheel speed sensor.

As far as smoking the tires, that's just me playing around. I can easily drive around town with out spinning the tires, I rarely ever so the Traction Activated light come on when the Traction was still working, I just don't know how to go about repairing the traction.

There is only one way this car is capable of a smokey burn-out. Roll through some water, then stomp it!

I have to agree, while the Aurora seems peppy when the engine is in its power band, at 250HP and close to 4000 pounds there isnt going to be any smoke outs unless something seriously reduces traction at the front tires.

There is a set of manuals for 1995 on ebay with 1 bid so far at $59.99. Here is a link to the books

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting

If not the item # is 2451474157 the sellers name is yargnits
If you bid hope you win at least its better than paying $125 for a new set.
