help with head swap d16z6 on d15b2

i have a 90 hb that i put a 94 ex head on the problem is that it wont rev past 3200ish it bogs down i do not have the vtec hooked up yet i have a rs type vtec controller but i am very confused on how to hook it up ..i dont have factory wiring please help if you have done this swap

...kinda sounds like either an ignition timing issue...or cam timing issue..possibly....

did you do your multiport conversion correctly? would the car rev correctly after completing multiport and just not when you installed the VTEC head? What ECU are you using?
