problem
hiya, when i put my car in gear and accelerate all it does is rev. same for all gears, and b4 this happend when i was drivin every gear i went in jus seemed to rev way to much, any know wat the prob is? guessin its the gearbox or somethin

sounds like a bad clutch - any squealing?

either busted tranny or fried clutch.
could also be the distributor.

do you know what sort of actuator the clutch uses? (hydraulic / cable / metal rods / etc)

my guess is that the clutch has worn out. You'll probably need to have the flywheel resurfaced, and replace the clutch disk and pressure plate.
The reason I asked about the cable was that before you start pulling everything apart, you might want to see if there is anything preventing the clutch from engaging properly (mechanical interference with something under the hood, etc). Chances are there isn't anything like that going on, because you would probably have felt it through the pedal. If there is any room for adjustment, you might see if letting a little tension off of the cable gives the clutch any more grab, but I wouldn't count on it.
