Question battery warning light 1990 4runner

My brake and battery warning light came on recently while driving. After driving for about 10 miles it went off, then came back on again after another couple miles. Later that night while driving, they came back on again, and I noticed that my interior light for the dash was dim as well as my headlights. Any ideas as to what the problem is? Thanks...

Sounds like your alternator is dying on you- typical sign is your electrical components/accessories dying or not working, due to the alternator not properly charging the battery.

Smile thanks

Thanks for the reply. I changed the alternator and things seem to be working fine now.
