Parts needed for a RB25DET swap
Ok...I know its probably already on here somewhere but I got tired of looking.
I have a 95' 240 for a daily driver and project car. I am set on doing the RB25DET swap and have a place to get a R33 half cut at a very good price. What I am wanting to know is what all parts I wil need that will not be included in the halfcut. I already have a fmic and know I'll need a custom driveshaft. What else is needed? Thanx -Ryan |

take a look at the RB swap faq...you should be able to find all the info you will need for the swap there.

Re: Parts needed for a RB25DET swap
its good you are getting a front clip. you will need to have a wireing harness made useing both harnesses, this is the cleanest way but is about for hundred dollars, the proper mount kit is essential for torque & weight distrabution. if you want i can get the info from who is doing mine. the swap is not rocket siecne but I have estimated about $10,000 (much cheeper then my superchargered type r del sol and a whole lot more potential) which includes the re25det with a z32 brake and susenssion converssion. how much are you paying for the rb25? Also i do not know when usdm switched to ob11 but thats something else to think about
