SEARCH!!!! The box you need to use is in the BOTTOM, RIGHT, CORNER... No, not the search on this page, the search on the main Honda/Acura page. Posts like this have been played out a million times over.

The b20vtec has a larger bore, and therefore more power potential. Both would cost about the same to build.

Re: Re: B18b1/vtec Vs B20/vtec

They are the exact same except for bore size. The level of difficulty and necessary parts is the same. Its just a matter of which one you can find for cheaper.

Either one would be nice in your crx.

The itr head would be better to use, but the b16 head would be easier to find and cheaper. I'd go with b16 head unless you can get a good deal on an itr head.

Re: B18b1/vtec Vs B20/vtec

All of those reasons would be a stupid reason to go B20/vtec. Yay! people like me more, i got a B20 in my crx. GET REAL. If that's what you think then you are doing it for the wrong reason.

Serious. Some of this stuff is things you not only could, but NEED to find out on your own. Such as price. We dont live where you do, so we cant go down to our local shop and ask what theyd charge to find and install this stuff for YOU. Just do some research.
