sliding door problems
Hey guys..My parents have a 01 odyssey and the driver side sliding door keeps on getting messed up. This is alreayd the second time that we are taking it to the dealer to get fixed!..I just wanted to know if it was just out odyssey or if it was jus a designing flaw. Beacuse everytime we go to the dealer they never tell us if its ours or if honda had desiging flaws with the doors. Well i just wanted to know if u guys had any troubles and waht did u guys do to fix them..

ODY with door problems? LOL I could sit here all night & tell your about all the problems/customers that came into the dealer. Honda made a terrible design & all the updates DO NOT solve all issues. Make sure the pin switches between the door/frame are clean & the bottom track is free of any dirt. If the dealer did the updates there should be all new grounding washers & updated pin switched. There may be more now, I left Honda about 1 yr ago. Door & trans problems were the most common complaint.
One customer came in atleast 1 time a month for his sliding doors not working properly. It was probably about the 10th visit before American Honda sent an inspector, basically ended up telling the guy not to park by a baseball field  His trans went out & then he traded in, never fixing the problems. His wasn't the ODY to have similar problems.
