Cool 97 Towncar limo R/ft Power Seat wiring

I just bought a 97 towncar Limo Superstretch. When one of these cars is made into a limo it is common that the right front seat is deleted to make room for additional luggage and for other reasons. My drivers seat was nice but the leather had an area that was coming apart. I Found a set of orig. lincoln power seats in excellent condition and decided to replace the drivers seat and add the power passenger seat.
Only problem is that there is no wiring at all for the power seat.

I have the seat/window controls for the passenger door, and have looked under the rug for wiring but it is not there. There is one open 3 prong male plug end in the kick panel area but nothing else. I checked with ford/Lincoln and they tell me that cars produced by them that were destined to be limos had a different wire harness with no provisions for a power passenger seat. I am going to get a wire harness that is inside the right door and floor area from a salvage car but need to get a wiring diagram for a 97 town car that addresses this area. Does anybody have access to one? Has anybody out there ever done this before? I can't help but wonder if somewhere there is a kit made to do this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Chuck

you seem very determined

Were you able to acquire all the parts yet ?

One problem I can think of right off the bat, the seats and mirrors are computer (module) controlled which may be a necessary part of the system, I'm not sure.

I have the 1996 diagrams which should be identical to 97 is you still need them. I can copy them to PDF's and post them somewhere.

There's two guys that have 120" maintenance experience in the UK that may be of assistance as well.
Their Forum names are "dereck" and "big mac"

Update this post with your experiences.

Curious what you found out. I'm trying to install a set of 96 MkVIII seats into a 70's pick up. I got the seat computers, but there are some many wires coming off of them, I need to determine which are which.

Towncar - do you have a wire diagram for Mark VIIIs as well?

Thanks in Advance.

I havn't heard back from anyone involved here, but Yes... I do have all the 1996 Ford "cars" wiring diagrams on a Ford Service CD.

If you'd like, I can copy the CD's and send them to you ?

Towncar,
Do you have a wiring diagram for a 2005 Expedition? I bought a set of seats from a wreck and will put them in an E-350 somehow but need to bypass the memory function of the driver seat to operate the 8-way switch.
