OT: Smilies

Sorry for the OT question but...
is it just me or do the smilies not work? the box on the left which had smilies before is blank. and if i have smilies disabled, how do i re-enable them?

There is a check box below where you type your text where you can disable smilies, you can also disable/enable smilies in the UserCP section.

Also sometimes when i go to put up a smilie it takes me the Main Forum page and when i press to go back everything I wrote disappears!
