TURBOS and CAMS for the U.S. Lancer

Super Beast found some Viagra!!!!!
Check this bad boy out at http://www.roadraceengineering.com/rreimages/sema2001/
These are pictures of there car at the SEMA 2001
Talked with http://roadraceengineering.com/ today on the phone.
Spoke with one of there techs.
The yellow lancer pictured in the 2001 Sema thread is there baby, they have it sitting in the garadge at the shop. emailed me pictures, there modifing it again.
Heres the skinny: Lancer es/oz/ls turbo kit includes:
Front mount intercooler
Garrett T25 Turbo
Bigger fuel pump
Bigger fuel Regulater
Boost guages
Manifold
Parts & Labor
Cost: starts at $3500.00 U.S. dinaro. depending on the amount of dress up you want, i.e. poliched, chromed, etc.
As for cams and cam gear, unsure where to find them, RRE didn't upgrade.
RRE stated that they thought http://unorthodoxracing.com/ will be producing a underdrive pulley set for the car as well. So here is some more info to salavate on.
And in the shadows appears: Elemer Fudd "The Wabbit Slayer!"

the 4g63

try this www.turbotrix.com/parts/tubos.shmtl the frank 1. i am thinking of purchasing this for my lancer es. any thoughts????? o and i think as someone else said in another thread that the engine in the lancers es ls and oz are the same 4g63 except it is single cam and not dohc. this is the only difference i can find. the dis. is 1999cc in the lancers in the us and 1997cc in the evos??? is that correct. i would really appreciate some feedback for this would save me a lot of money.

Good Link

That turbo link you put there is good, I checked it out, it sounds like they have just about all the parts and are making some for the Lancer U.S. line. Now, I'll admit that the speculation on if the lancer engine that is here in our lancers could be a 4g63, with different head, i checked it out, and nowbody can decide, the bluprints and papers look closely resembling, but I personally don't know enough about engines to tell you deffinete yes or no, so, I do have friends who know enough, and I wanted to check it out so if it was, we could have hope, so, there not sure at this time if it is or isn't the 4g63. As soon as I know, I'll let everyone know

Is it really hard to upgrade to a turbo on these motors, judging by the cost I found with RRE, it sounds like it, again, lack of ed in turbo's when it comes to the install part and making them work. So any help on turbo moding the U.S. Lancer would be greatly appreciative. Not sure what size turbo to by, and boost?
