holy shit!!! she said she was on the pills, and then this crap comes up - "i'm pregnant"....dude, i'm 22, and am not ready for fatherhood...i dont have the feeling that she's cheated on me, at least. anybody got any advice, please i dont care what it is, just shoot.

Sorry to hear it man. I'm 22 as well and know I'm not ready yet either, and don't plan on it anytime soon. No advice that I can say except to be a man and don't run. The pill isn't fool proof nor is any other contraceptive. I also have to say that if you man enough to have sex, then your man enough to handle the possible consequences. Best of luck to you.

Well, I dont want to sound cold-hearted but... it's not all her duty to make sure everything is safe and protected; granted nothing is 100% safe, but Im sure you know what I mean. If you feel there may have been any infidelity on her part, get a blood test of the child when possible to make sure it is (or isnt) yours. If indeed this is your child, like it or not fatherhood is upon you, and as was already said, you need to do your job and be a father to this baby.

I know it seems like it sucks, but I'd have to say it ain't good. Babies can be fun. If it is your son (probably) then you've got some great time ahead of you. Besides, you're only 22, so you can head to your "mid-life" crisis before your 35, and catch up on all the stuff you missed while you were raising your successor.
Of course, in the unlikely event that it isn't your son, you could either stay with her, or stomp out screaming and yelling, and find a younger, hotter girlfriend to help you get over your hurt.

Time to step up to the plate, and see what type of man you exactly are. Are you one to run, or one to accept fate as it is, look it in the eye, and run with it. An abortion is the best idea. Then I would suggest you dump her afterwards too. Something doesn't seem right. If you she doesn't believe in abortions you can try to convince her by using the "Hail Mary" technique. Tell her you love her and would like to spend a lot more time with her, even marriage, and that you want things to be perfect when you both decide to have a baby. Right now is not the best time and it will screw up all the plans you have for you and her. When she has the abortion dump her because she doesn't seem very responsible.
