Can I repaint my car with just spray cans?

This is probably a really dumb question, but I figured I'd throw it out here.

If I wanted to repaint my CRX, could I do it by just getting automotive aerosol paint without any other equipment?

from walmart to give it a wider spray.... but seriously i wouldnt do it...

why not use house paint & a roller while your at it.

no offense but that is scary, lol

at least they make an automotive spray paint intended for small areas like an aftermarket bumper. if you must rattle can your whole car....i suppose you should look for that stuff

I think you could do it but it may end up being more trouble than you think. Check this out. Getting a mirror finish with a spray can. If you do it let us know how it turns out and how much you spent on supplies. Good luck.

haha typical cheap rice boy wanting to spray there car most likely you will have runs all over the place and fade very easy....hey its something diff...lol...tell people your kids did it

I've spraypainted two cars, they came out alright. If you're actually good at it you can make it look good. You won't get the shine out of it like you would from a real paint job, but it will look good at night under certain lights and in the rain. I say go for it if that's all you can afford right now

if your gonna spray paint, do primer until you can afford a real paint job. IMO primer looks better than a crap ass job.

yes, definately. Whenever I'm paint a car and I see it in primer I just want to leave it, primer actually looks really sweet lol.
