B16A2 turbo experience

I have read many suggestions about turbo charging a civic yet. Both good and bad opinions. Now, I want to boost it on 5-6 PSI for everyday use. My engine has 150k km (eq. 85k mile) in it. Pls, I'd like to hear opinion and experience from ppl has the same type of engine - b16a2 - and got through on turbo project already:

1: What did you modify on bottom end of engine (or elsewhere) exactly? Also what type/manufacture of pistons, crankshaft etc. did you put in instead of stock OEM? (TypeR?) Or did you change anything at all? Port and Polish necessary? Other head work?
2: Civic is one of the most reliable car as we know, almost no problems with engine even after few hundredthousend mileage. But after installing the turbo, how often do you take it service, have to change parts in your engine? (honestly)
3: Here in Hungary NOBODY built turbo Civic yet. Though many thought about. My friends with the same engine want to persuade me NOT to start this turbo project at all, B16A2 has too much compression (10.4:1) and even with installing an FMU my engine's life will be decreased to one third at least. And I'll have to service my engine in each year, too...

Pls, serious experiences are needed!

Thx, Peter from Hungary, Europe

Re: B16A2 turbo experience

This is a repost isnt it? Well anyways...theres no need for you to reinforce your bottom end for that low of PSI. You start going any higher then you may need to ask about reinforcing the bottom end. Your friends shouldnt make up your mind...you should do that on your own. The compression is high..but not to high for that low of PSI.
