where in florida are you? and where did you hear about a spring intro? i'm in tampa and one of the dealerships told me next december. (of course the guy was an idiot, told me that it would be tuned way down to 270 HP, lol).

anyways, maybe we could start an evo club and have cool japanese graphics, and one big wiper blade, and take off the stock exhaust and replace it with a smaller one with a coffee can tip. YEAH!!

ohhhhhhh, you mean the club, graphics, wiper blade and exhaust stuff. i'm REALLY serious about that stuff, i SWEAR!!!

I'm just south of the Sunshine Skyway. I spoke to the Mitsu rep for the southeast at the Auto show a couple of weeks ago. He said outside chance of December 2001, but most likely spring 2002. Dealers are useless although the one in St pete says he heard the spring too. I also belong to the Maxima.org group and we just had a meet and got about 15 guys there. We can do the same for the Lancers. A good time.

It's too bad the Mitsu dealers around here are clueless. One of the owners of Mastro Subaru knows everything about the WRX. Man, he is a real enthusiast. Bullsh*tted with him for an hour about rally cars. Very cool.

Official with the state means I have a licence plate that says EVO VII.

my friend just got a WRX from Mastro about two months ago. if the evo isn't released in 2002, i'll do the same. they took him in a test drive in the owners car (the one with all the graphics) and the salesman was doing e-brake 180's down side streets. very cool place.

Hey, I drove the same car. I love the graphics. I'm not a big fan of graphics, but the WRX has the kahunas to back it up, not like some of these ricers :hehe: I pulled up next to a ricer on Memorial, he didn't even try, i was away within the first 100 ft.

Did the Mastro car have a loud clunk when you shifted hard? When I drove it in June, it did, and it had trouble going into third. I think too many people were doing their Richard Burns impressions on the car.

I may get a WRX too if the EVO VII is delayed. Get yourself the Turbo Performance January issue. Big articles (4) on the WRX. Or check their web site Turbomagazine.com.
