i am researching how to soup up a tercel. how did you choose this motor? and what were the other options for making a tercel fast that you considered? How much does the car weigh?

i am goin to do the same swap ...what sort of tips do you have for a 95-99 body style? what tranny do you use? will it direct bolt up or minor massage or major massage? waht axles etc?

Sorry I don't read this forum often, but considering there's 3 replies in so many months...
I'm normally on http://toyotanation.com 's forums or you can open my chat server by clicking the link and give a little while to load. I was told it was a Celica engine, but I took it from an MR2

if you look at the pics on TN you'll see the 1 axle I have, still need to make the other.

The car is a 93, the engine spose to be a 92
I looked at 4EFTE, couldn't put a smaller engine from a lighter car in, just had moral issues there..
looked at a 4AGZE, second choice, prolly way easier too
looked at a 20v, then seen the hp rating of a 3SGTE...
