Question Help please! '94 does not start at random times

My '94 Regency Elite (Supercharged) w/70K miles from time to time
does not start or even crank, though all power comes on. I have a new battery, but that did not solve the problem. After letting the car sit for a few minutes, it starts. The problem is, I cannot take it for service because I cannot make this happen when I want. It can go a week with no problem & then it reappears. (Very frustrating!) The dealer checked it out & could not find anything. Thanks in advance to anyone out there for any suggestions. -rgs-

Replacing the starter with solenoid would be a good bet.

Thank a million for the suggestion; I will try this. Two GM dealer service departments had no ideas on this. I apprciate your help. Good luck.
