Veilside FTO sketch

Hello ppl!

Well, this drawing which hopefully is displayed here is something i did for my brother as a Christmas gift. I didnt know what to get him so i thought i would draw a pic of his car - which is, as the subject mentions, a Mitsubishi FTO (GPX) with a full Veilside kit! I know its past Christmas, but my bro is overseas and comes back in Jan....so i got some time!

The style is my take on the exaggerated Kartoonz theme...which i am sure you have all seen.

Those not familiar with a Veilside FTO can see one here:
Veilside FTO Front
Veilside FTO Rear

Any crits and that are welcome...cos i wanna make sure its decent enough to frame and give as a present.

I've actually done a bit more then the picture shows, which i will probably post later this week.

Thanks for looking!

PS: i've been looking for a forum place like this for ages! I have found it hard to find other artists who have an interest in cars....maybe i just suck at looking. lolz A lot of you can draw quite nicely! I'll have to post some of my other drawings i've done sometime...

laters!

hey thanks people!! appreciated!!!

haha i havent taken a color pencil to paper since primary skool....i am not all that good at rendering or reflection work....

however, i would like to add some kinda of reflection/rendering on this drawing just using the pencil...but you know what? i have absolutely no idea how...

is there any like 'standard' way to shade with a side on car view?
