More Horespower for ur ride!!!

heres something i found out myself. You win or buy a car, change oil, tune the car to the max ,and thats the final hp....NOT! if u go to test and settings and do a few quick runs it will raise your hp. this doesn't work with all the cars but for some it doesthe best tracks to do this in are the test course and the complex string.you don't allways have to do a full lap, I just run the car for a bit 4 or 5min you know doing SITTING BURNOUTS ,360's and high speed runs, just race that car till it's wheels fall off!! this will get you more hp.Keep doing this to get better results.Oh another thing if you win a car it will ALLWAYS have more hp than if you buy it from the dealer. It's like replacing the oil 2 times and adding hp 2 times.well hope theys hints help you out.post your results I would love to see them.

clk 600:633hp went up to 637hp in just 4 or 5 min.
3400s(boxer):I don't remember but i know it raises hp.
escuto:It too raises hp

It also lowers the horsepower which sucks because when I had my RUF RGT it was about 1,134 hp I think it was and It sorta lowered a horsepower down and I don't know what was the reason why.

Your horsepower will go down because of engine wear? I had that same question. How does that work?

just like in real life, the more you use the car the worse it will perform over time, the fuels, additives, etc break down over time and the parts wear out. so you start to lose HP.

Ummm, I found need for speed underground to be disapointing, there were very few good cars, and some of the cars performance was blown out of proportion. I also foudn it extremely easy, and I hate how your rep multi is based on your cars looks, i feel it should be based on how good you drive, but that is my own opinion. i also beat it with about 90% of the races on hard in less then a week with out putting that much time into it.

Every time u beat the game the car u beat the last race with gets all the special parts upgrades on it .So when u go to free run or drag or all the othere races at the main menu u can pick the faster car(the car u end the game with).Try ending the game with other cars it doesn't have to be a fast car in beat mine with the civic.
