Angry '89 Camaro heater problems

My 1989 camaro heater blower seems to be blowing fine, but no heat ever comes out, even after 30 minutes of engine running. The problem started suddenly. Any suggestions???? Thanks!!!

Re: '89 Camaro heater problems

also, you might have a mode door actuator problem, if the door that controls the flow of air isnt working, it never routs the air to the heater core, and you keep getting cold air. could be a control head, could be an actuator, could be lots of things.

could be one of 3 things.
Theromstat/
Heat control valve
Heat core

Best bet is either theromostat, or the heat control valve i had the exact same problem about a month ago replaced both now i got lots of heat!

heater control valve is behind the dash, not sure exactly where though.

there is also a...nipple, for a lack of a better word, should be on the manifold somewhere that goes to the heater. I had a bad one once and had the same problem. But it was physicly broke and I had a leak..just a thought.
