Finding an apartment is a BITCH!
GODDAMN IT! 1 week until i have to move out to Boston to my new school, and this kid is starting to dick me around with the apartment shit. It's bad enough that i have to sublet the room, but now he wants me to send HIM the money to send to the landlord? I don't think so. Goddamn it, why can't shit go by smoothly these days anymore? I don't have time to go searching for a new place now... but if he think's he can dick me around, he's dead wrong. He screwed himself by moving out before the lease was up, and misadvertised the price of the place. For all I care, he can continue to pay for a place he doesn't live at! *I'm* just trying to make this easy for both of our benefeits.
grr. Anyone have any advice on this stuff?

Some leases don't allow for sub-letting.
Perhaps his is such a case and he doesn't want the Landlord to find out he is sub-letting the place. Contact the Landlord yourself if you know who it is and ask him about this. |
