Is this an s13?

For anyone that has watched the Grip DVDs , im talking about the Drifter x car that Signal has. I want to do something similar and i want to know if this is possible.And if there is a certain year prefered?
92-94?(s13 i think)
s-15 front end conversion
the tail lights from a 180 sx (maybe)
and of course an sr20det
forgive me if im wrong with any of this info, just trying to learn.
Another example is the 240 from the mag. Import Tuner, the kindof funky pink-purple one. Any help would be great! Thanks.

Notice the tail lights in the bottom pic, this is what i want my car to look similar to. What year ,US, 240 would be the most like this one? Keep in mind...the s15 conversion. Thanks

the car in those pics is an s13

Well is there any way I can similarly duplicate that via a US spec 240?

yup. S13 is just the chassis code. we have S13's here in the US also. S13's were made from 89-94. 94's were only available as convertables though...

So basically i could buy a '93 240 and rig an s15 front end on it ?

you need to do ALOT of research before you even think of undertaking such a project.

going into something this big without any knowledge is usually asking for bad things to happen.

and don't just do all the mods because you saw it somewhere else. look around a bit. explore your options.

Thanks, and just for the records im not doing it just because i saw it somewhere. Im doing it because i love the s15 headlights and such, but i like the s13 rear end. And im trying to find a 240 to buy, so, im just looking for a place to start. I need FR , drifting is just too good!

180SX RPS13 was made till -98. Sold only in Japan, if I remember correctly.

correct, but we're talking about US-Spec S13's here.

I think the year I'm lookin' for is a '90 . Is there a certain trim that I should be on the lookout for?
