well until you figure out what type of tranny it is, hard to say what it will fit in!

check the bolt pattern to be sure.
If I were you, however, I would travel down to the nearest junkyard/ auto parts recycler and get an actual ford transmission so you don't have to worry about it.
while the transmission may "fit" the likelyhood that the sensors and lines will all hook up is doubtfull.
I got a decent used auto tranny for a car I used to own for $300. that's pretty darn cheap, considering new ones are in the thousand dollar range.
