Power steering
Hello,
I have a 1989 Buick Regal and my powersteering is not working, however there is fluid in the reservoir. The car is not mine and the owner does not want to pay for any repairs especially ones not very important. But the car is very difficult to park without powersteering. My question is, I have heard that removing the fluid from the system and disconnecting it will help reduce the steering effort at low speed is this true? If true, how would i go about doing this effectively to get it all out. Thank you |

Re: Power steering
Power steering is very important in most states with a safety inspection program a car will not pass without working power steering system.
