V6? I've seen the 3.0L Stealth twin turbo in the Integra Type R once, but why?

no its a v6 from an nsx, a bit more power still managing to keep it FW drive.
the reason, cause no one else has and its a bit more HP

Re: v6

I built one that was probably capable of putting down alot more torque and power at the rear wheels than that nsx motor ever would. Looks good, might I suggest for your paint, lay the purple down all over the body and just fade silver from the bottom of the body half-way up.

well i was thinking of laying down the purple and lightly spraying some silver over it.
and what motor did you put in?
and i like the NSX motor because its N/A (normaly aspirated). i like motors that do power with out those extras.

Re: Project Puprle Haze

That's the paint scheme I was talking about just let whatever over spray be and that can be your fade.

The chassis was chopped up and I built new tunnels for a rear end, and transmission. The motor I used was a 90 something or other LT1 corvette transmission, with a T56 6sped manual. It fit quite well, only thing was I had to add mega rear wheel camber because the car looked 5 scale inches higher in the rear. But this year coming, I'm going to make a turbo typeR AWD track star. and still retain the VTEC motor, and transverse motor mounts. Staytuned, as it's coming in a week or two!

BTW, could you post some pics of the motor in the engine bay when you get it fitted?

Re: Project Puprle Haze

Cool, just take your time. If you don't have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over? My dad used to say that all the time when I was kid and he'd build his kits.

if i realy have trouble with it then ill just leave it till my next break from school (spring break), or the summer when i have even more time. im hopeing to get a chunk done soon (the exterior) but if it takes longer i dont mind taking my time.
heres a pic to show the body kit in its semi mounted (some touch up and gluing still needed plus filler. and to show that i took the doors off.

Re: Project Puprle Haze

that's cool. Might I suggest the grey 7spoke rims, instead of those, just a thought.

Re: Project Puprle Haze

Or, if you have an LHS, they sell XS Tuning, 17'' wheels. They have a variety of styles and colors, you could allways check them out.

EDIT:

BTW, how do you make your pics smaller so they fit on the AF web gallery?

here it is with the 7 spoke rims, and my camera has a function that does 640X480 so i dont need to resize it. other wise just use an image program that should work.

Re: Project Puprle Haze

Yea, I figured that out. Looks cool, but I don't know now. Is this going to be like a street performance car? Because I have another suggestion for the wheels if you're doing street/performer. The 5spoke rims, useing a fine brush, brush some metallic, or gloss black right on to the spokes, leaving the lip chrome, that'd be pretty cool I think. But It's your car, your build. BTW, check out my latest threads "CSM 55'Chevy and 64' Dodge 330" and "Fujimi Drift Machine".
