Help installing a catalytic converter?

HI I have a 95 s10 blazer and I have a bad catalytic converter? The repair shop want 400$ to fix it but I ound a bolt on catalytic converter online. My question was is it hard to install, is it just chopping off the bad one and replcing it with a new one, like puting a piece of pipe together or is their more to it? Thanks

Should be pretty cut and dry. The only thing that might be difficult about it would be if you have to maneuver around other things in the way. With any luck, it's bolted on rather than welded. If that's the case, then it should just be a matter of having the right parts and the right tools. Good luck.
