Re: How To Remove Radio Out Of 2001

what you have to do is take the plastic off around the stereo and gauges off there is clips on the radio side then you have to take the fuse cover off the whole side piece and there is a scerw on the backside you have to take out then lift your dash cover up and you will see 2 more screws on the back side of the the dash take them out and take the plastic around the gauges off then there is 2 more screws on the radio take thos off but dont umplug it has a alarm thing on it so no one can steel it so you need the turn the kee backward to the acc. position then unplug the radio and turn then turn the kee off, and you must have a wiring harness for the car you can get at best buy and it will plug right in then go color to color on the wires and conect them, then put it all back together its really easy to do dont let all this writing fool ya.

Unless you know how to wire in a radio, or have the appropriote harness, you should take it to a certified installer. It will be much easier and it will be done properly. it only costs around $40
