gst ignition coil
are there any aftermarket ignition coil such as (MSD) for a gst? i couldn't find any

Our coils will run 10s and better. Some poeple do use an MSD type ignition box at thatlevel. The next step up is typically coil on plug for the serious ballers, like that offered by bushur. Used in conjuntion with an ignition box still. I've never seen anyone use other coils aside from those options, but that doesnt mean other option dont exist of course.

Smithey from NABR uses RX 7 coils.

Thats good info. Any idea how fast the Rx7 guys run on those coils? We know Smithey does 600+ whp on them anyway...

From what I hear, they run the stockers right into the 9's, without problems.

I appreciate you bringing this info to my attention. I might try this this year. Last year I had problems geting the plugs to fire with a gap larger than 026. If the RX7 coils are stronger, I should be able to run a larger gap. Which is a good thing. 026 is ridiculously small...
