Me and EVO 8 vs. 350Z with intake

there is this kid that talks maad trash to 16 years olds in the neighborhood. he just got a new 350Z 6 speed base model with a injen intake and hes boasting how he got the fastest car in forest hills and that no car can stand up to him. well my friend with the evo 8 is like

EVO 8:"what da fucK? race me right now"
350Z: "nah you can't handle this shit"

well we were talkin to those 16 year olds and they were like

16 year old: "yo man that car is really fast i sat in it, you cna't beat him with your evo"

and i'm startin to think, these kids are only 16 years old. how many fast cars could they have sat in? i mean when i was 16 i thought a integra LS was fast. anyways 2 nights ago i found him goin to a bar with his Z. well we instigated and dragged his ass out to race.

anyways they lined up and the Z went before the light turned green, and my friend with the evo haven't driven his car for 2 weeks, so he bogged off the line. even with the Z cheating, and my friend bogging, the evo takes him by 2 cars at the end of 3rd

2nd run: my friend claimed the Z cheated and they went again. this time my friend over reved his car taking it to 7.5K before he shifted. this caused him to lose some time, so still same results, only 2 cars, and once again the Z still cheated by taking off first.

now its my turn to run.

1st and only run: i know i can't drive my car that well, so i had my friend drive it for me, since he can shift alot faster then me. anyways i honestly thought i had a chance of losing thats why i wnted to take the drivers error out of hte equation. anyways light turns green, we both take off at the same time, my car jumps ahead by 1/4 car at the end of hte launch. after that, my car just kept on pulling and pulling. by the middle of 4th, my car is around 5-6 cars ahead.

till this day i still can't believe my car beat him that bad. i mean yeah the Z driver could've been better. but still inbetween each gear, the 240 was pulling on him decently hard.

btw tat did you run the evo with your 240?

the evo is stock, and the guy who drives the Z is 18. but he hangs out at the park playing handball and there are alot of highschool kids there. so he shows off. and the evo is stock. and i did run the evo before. the first time was went i had the car just tuned, and i was running on stock rims. it was a ghetto drag from a 10mph roll, and i kept up with him. then we draged again but i had problems with the car, and i just got my new rims the 5 zigen typhoons which happens to weight a ton. and i got my ass kicked bad. but that was because my car had a fuel problem. i mean i sorta got the problem sorted out, but its still not as fast as its suppose to be.

yup, but i'm still kinda dissapointed at my numbers at the wheels, cause most 240's i know running KA turbos running 9 psi are making 260whp and are running mid to low 13's. but i guess thats what i guess happens when HESS gas fucks your car up, they gave me a bad batch of 93 octane and my car was knocking, and i had it dynoed while it was knocking so it was really conservatively tuned.
