Muffler Question?

I recently purchased a muffler for $149.00. I haven't attached it to my 90 Accord LX. So, I was wondering if anyone on the Forum has ever used an OBX muffler? My other questions are, what do they sound like on this type of car? Has anyone ever reccomended this muffler? Please don't get me wrong about this. I may used this muffler if I get eneough feed back on it's popularity. Otherwise I may take it back and save for a Greddy cat back system. The muffler looks good. It's cylindrical with a 2.5" inlet and outlet, including a 4" slanted tip and a polished chrome finish. I would have posted a photo but I am new to this internet photo image thing. Well that's it. Reccomendations welcomed.

Thanks for the reply. Greddy does kick ass, but what about the price of $500.00?

I'll let you know and if I can figure it out I'll splice a sound track of the OBX after it's installed.:smoka:

Options Auto Salon currently has the Greddy Sport Exhaust at $472.00.
Here's the link http://www.optauto.com/webstore/prod...=yes&dept=1197 I'm sure everyone will view this price as resonable, but it's not 50 state legal yet. That being said I may go for the DC Sport exhaust for $480.00. This is also dependent on my like or dislike of the OBX Universal Muffler which may or may not be 50 state legal. Well there's the dilema. Should I install the U. Muf. that might not be 50 State legal (just to see how it sounds and performs)? Or should I give the DC Sport exhaust a try because it a proven product? These price are for a 1990 Accord LX cat back system, which the OBX is not. One other thing came up in my search for answers, the OBX muffler looks suspiciously like a Universal muffler by Arospeed.:what:

I mentioned that this OBX muffler looked like an Arospeed...guess what? It also looks like a Tsudo Performance one that I've seen in an ad by NOPI.:sun:

It turns out that the ONZA Muffler that I started this thread out with as a topic is in fact an OBX Muffler.

SORRY ABOUT THE CONFUSION>

if i were you, i would take the muffler to a good muffler shop and get them to put 2.25 inch mandrel bent piping from your cat back, and get the muffler welded to that. i had a 2.25 inch rear section done and i love it on my 94 accord. it sounds louder than just the muffler and i notice better throttle response in the high end. the reason i only got a rear section was because of money issues, and im saving for a ractive midsection. i pad 50$ for the rear section piping and muffler install, and catback would have been 75$.
