Angry B16A Motor/Tranny Troubles

After swapping a B16 into my 93 Civic i have run into some troubles...the tranny is cable activated and the car has a hydralic clutch, ive managed to make it work, but the clutch is light and spongy feeling and the tranny pops out of 5th gear, what other trannys would work that are hydro shift? the check engine light is staying on, i was told because of a knock sensor, any suggestions for this? also what throttle cable would be the right length for this motor? any help would be mucho appreciated

you can use any tranny that is a hydro b series tranny. for the check engine light did you wire the knock sensor. if not that is whats causing the check engine light to come on because the ecu is obd1 and it looks for a knock sensor.
