Question Considering An Evo - Insurance Cost??

I really love the evolution and I am considering saving up for one in the next few months. I was wondering if any of you owners out there could tell me what your paying for your insurance on it? I have AAA for my current car and it isn't that bad. If I were getting a new evo I would want full coverage on it so thats mostly the price I'm looking for. Well, thanks in advance!

Re: Considering An Evo - Insurance Cost??

Check AAA website for an online quote system. If not, go to progressive.com or geico.com or whatever online you choose and quote your current setup and then quote the new one and compare. Figure out percentage change and apply to your current rate. Should give a fairly accurate idea.

Too many variables

LDB has it right - the only you're going to find out a reliable answer is to ask someone who can take your particulars. Insurance rates are very dependent on a multitude of variables: age, location, driving history, etc.

I'm 40, married, and drove a 99 Accord sedan that I traded in on my Evo. My insurance cost went up about $150/yr.

Lightbulb Are you in the UK?

Are you in the UK? If so you should check out www.quickcarquote.co.uk I got insurance from Express Insurance http://www.xpgroup.com from their online quote thingy and it was the best deal so far for my Peujeot 206. I had trouble because I am a convicted driver and drive a modded car - some companies wouldn't deal with me...

Re: Considering An Evo - Insurance Cost??

Insurance is not too bad on my EVO 8 here in So CA. It's only about 10% more then what I'm paying for my 91 Acura Integra GS.
