Radio prob.

Just got a 95 Firebird, have a wierd prob tho .. the stock radio does not want to work .. All it says in the display is LOC .. any ideas? the dealership i got it from dident know what was wrong with it .. i am planning to put in an aftermarket one but i would still like to know whats wrong with this one, any help would be great .. thanks

you could have a wire disconnected or the radio is just messed up i would go get a cd player if i was you

LOC means that your Anti Theft security feature is enabled and your stereo is LOCKED. Someone along the line must have disconnected the battery. If you got a manual with your Firebird it will explain the procedure to you.

you should still buy a new head unit anyway...and yes alpine is a great choice...
