intake manifold for 66 satellite
ok this is for all you mopar engine wizards .i was wondering if a 383 intake manifold will fit on to a 318 polly block thanks very much.

No, it won't fit or work. You have an 'A' series motor and that is the manifolds that fit it. A 383 ('60-'72) uses a completely differant intake system.
I think you may look and E-bay or something and you may find a 4Bbl intake made '57-'62 or so and that would fit ok. Back in the '50's there was even a 2-4Bbl intake that was factory produced for the Fury package cars but it's been years since I've even seen one..... |

Offenhauser made one. I've seen 'em at the Carlisle PA swap shows. goin for $100.00 or so. Factory one only fits the factory carter carb for the year (expensive! and hard to find) offy takes a square bore anything by anybody. Use an AFB, uh, I mean an Edelbrock carb. (god, why did they do that to me...)
