Another HLJ order!

My latest order is the following:
The Altezza is out of stock, and I ordered it to hold up the order so I can add more as I think of what I need! Good Idea as I always think of something just after the order is despatched!

Item 1: MCLSP-03 Emblem Set Vol. 1 980 1
Item 2: FUJ11051 Big Caliber Muffler 450 2
Item 3: FUJ19179 18in Volk Racing Challenge 700 1
Item 4: MDLD021 Carbon Fiber 1 600 1
Item 5: MDLP501 Racing Harness (three color) 1100 1
Item 6: FUJ18671 Super Street Altezza TRD 2000 1

No pictures! You have to take a stab at one and remember the order number if you like it!
I use a local firm for all my wiring etc.

Let me know all about this one. I found it a while back, and I'd like to hear all the different things on it. I can't quite make them all out (though I don't really need the giant "H" old-school Honda emblems! )

I got my kit in 2 weeks from the moment I posted order on HLJ web site
shipping to US is about 8-9 USD (in my case total $28,8 and kit itself was $19)

The time it takes depends on your payment method. If you use a money order like me, it will take longer than if you use a credit card.

Guys my order is taking a mad long time to process too. Go read their x-mas holiday notice. They are apparently swapped with orders and it will take longer to get your stuff. As it stands anything you order now will probably get shipped after new years. My order has been in payment and shipping for over a week now.

So if you want it now go to the local hobby shop, if you can wait, place an order.

I like to keep an order in waiting for a while, so I can add somethings when I remember I need them!
Did the stuff you guys order appear in stock? It takes ages if they are out of stock!

Even if it was in stock I don't think you'll get it in the usual time. Here's the e-mail I got today.

Year-end Shipment Handling
From: Scott at HobbyLink Japan <[email protected]>
To: [email protected]

Hello and Happy Holidays! This is an important customer service message being sent to all HobbyLink Japan customers who currently have an order in place with us.

As much as we hate to say it, we want you to know that the huge volume of year-end shipping requests we've received recently, coupled with a large number of important new product releases, has created a large shipping backlog in our warehouse. If you have an order that is ready to ship, you may have already noticed that things seem to be taking longer than usual, i.e. your online status display may not have changed for several days.

Of course, we've been through the holidays before and knew to expect a rush, but this is far greater than what we've experienced in past years. Of course, since it means HLJ is growing, that's a good thing in the long term, but the delay this is causing you now is hardly cause for celebration.

Please accept my sincere apologies for the slow down. Our warehouse crew, plus a few extra helpers, are working overtime to try to get your shipments out as quickly as possible. We'll be shipping until December 27th. For complete details on our holiday hours and service, please take a look at http://www.hlj.com/hlj_holiday.html if you have not already.

Many people have sent a message to our [email protected] address or some other address inquiring about the slow down. To be honest, taking time to answer all these messages just makes the problem worse. Please accept this note as our reply, and remain patient. We'll get through it all eventually!

Thanks again for your support of HLJ. You've helped to make 2001 our best-year ever, and we plan to return the favor through vastly improved web site services and more in the coming months.

Wishing you and yours a happy 2002!
