This belongs over in the Stress Release forum, so I am going to bump it over there. And I'm pretty sure that it is a rerun.. however, I suppose AF members can go through it again, since we probably have all new things that piss us off right now during the holidays.
For me, it's these bloody friggin' long lines and overcrowded parking lots!!! This holiday-related stress, along with this foolish, shallow capitalistic focus on spending, makes me crazy!!! :zx11pisse |

Jealous people who only want to say rather nasty things either about you or to you in order to make their inflated ego's feel better !
After that would be spotty faced punks in civics who think their cars are all that! For fucks sakes that is right up there with the top one!

![]() As for what pisses me off, to be honest, I can only name one thing, as at the current moment I'm too relaxed to launch into a tirade of sorts and itemize what sets me off. So, for now...people who insist that I be everywhere all the time. I only have two feet people. If you want me to be somewhere, call me ahead of time, and I only have two arms, so stop pulling on them in opposite directions! Wow, that sucked. I'm too relaxed to have even written that well. Is it possible to be stressed over not being stressed? Hmm...I think I'll contemplate this as I make myself some lunch.

Okay, I’ve got one for you. I’ve been “working” with Knight Engineering (Iceman Intakes) on the correct design of a custom intake for my car. I talked to their tech. about getting my hands on some of the same material they use for their intakes, and using some that would permit the right airflow on the intake side of the engine. He took down some dimensions for the diameter and length of plastic I would need for a good fit, and helped me pick 3" as the tube diameter I should use. He was very nice about it, and said he would look around to see if there was some scrap plastic about the size that I needed in their shop. So a couple days go by, and I decide to call their tech back to see if they’ve found anything. He’s unavailable, so I leave him a message.
A few days later, I go to a local Honda aftermarket shop, and examine a couple Iceman intakes they have. I find that the short piece of a Civic Si intake will fit quite well, once a short cut has been made. I call Iceman again to let them know that if they have a scrap from one of these intakes it will fit quite well. Go figure.. their tech is out for the afternoon. This goes on for a little over a week, and I leave the tech a message every single time (the tech has either “just stepped out” or just plain unavailable each time I call), until I finally just about lose it with the guy that answers the phone. I tell him that if the guy has no intention of calling me back and helping me out, that I wish somebody would just tell me so that I stop wasting my time. I threw a “fuck” in there somewhere for emphasis. The guy on the phone continued to insist that their tech. was really busy and had not had time to get to me. So the next day I get a call from the tech. (finally!). He was apologetic about not calling me sooner. He also didn’t remember what it was that I wanted. So, I went through the reminder details drill, and then added that the short piece from the Civic Si kit would fit fine. So, he put the guy that always answers the phone on the task of finding a spare “blemished” part for my usage. I think later that day he found what I needed, called me back, prepared a bill for that blemished part and accompanying K&N filter, and told me later that day the package would be sent out by UPS Ground, and that I should have it seven days from that day (the date of this call was December 7th). Obviously a week later (December 14th), I began salivating about getting my car that much closer to completion, and began rushing home every day to check and see if my package had arrived. Day after day, nothing. I figured maybe UPS was just slow because of the holidays. As of yesterday (December 20th), I figured maybe they had forgotten to send it. My credit card bill arrived that day, and there was a charge, for the full amount by Knight Engineering, dated December 7th. I called them to find out what was up. The same guy that always answered the phone checked through some records, and found the date my package was shipped: December 18th. I was livid – but what was I supposed to do? Pissed off as I was, I realized bitching and moaning now would do little. Maybe if I complained enough I would get a credit back on my card for a few bucks. But you know what, I really don’t think its worth any more aggravation. I got the UPS tracking number, and found this morning that the package is due for delivery on December 27th… almost two full weeks after the package would have been here (December 14th) if they had shipped it out when they said they would. WTF? Life’s a bitch as they say. Anyway, just another tale of things that piss me off :finger: |
