Very difficult to find some things for a 98 4DR Blazer 2WD

I've been looking for a Chrome brushguard, and every one I find is either for models up to 1997 or 4WD. I'm not sure why it has to be 4WD to fit, but there's probably a good reason...

The closest chrome brush guard match I could find was one for a 98-03 S-10, and it didn't say anything about it having to be 4WD, but the same site had one for a Sonoma and said it had to be 4WD, so it might have been a typo...

So basically I'm just wondering if anyone knows where to get a chrome brush guard for a 1998 4DR Blazer, 2WD.

*edit*
I'm also having trouble finding a dual exhaust system, I can only find systems for S10s Would that be compatible?

There has got to be some place out there that has 2wd brushguards. i'll post again if I can find one. As to the dual exhaust, I would just suggest to take it to a muffler shop and have them look at it to determine if a dual setup can be fitted. I assume you want two exit pipes on your, I wanted the same thing for 1992 but there wasn't enough space behind the axle. Then again, mine is a 4wd with skidplates, so space would have been limited regardless.

chrome brushgaurds

Hello;
Well ,I dont think you want to go chrome.Definatly go Stainless steel.
I have a 4wd 99 S10 Blazer. the price is a little higher than chrome,chrome only has a warranty of approx 5 years.Stainless is a lifetime warranty thing. as for the 2wd vs the 4wd , I dont see how there could be any difference in the front of the vehicle. go to a used car dealer,s lot and compare front ends to see there is any difference to be sure,ya know , find a year vehicle like yours in 4wd and look to see if there is a difference. there is a web site that i get mail from called
[url]www. (oops wrong website will when find it)
I have a stainless brush-grille gaurd,I hit a deer going 65mph ,didnt do any damage to my truck or the grille gaurd. there hard and tough

Re: chrome brushgaurds

Ooooh, maybe that's why its so hard, I want a silver colored one, not necessarily chrome, I just thought that's what they were called, this might help alot!

Also, some friends of mine tell me that dual exhaust probably wouldn't fit on my Blazer (true dual exhaust), so I'm gonna scrap that for now.

I've also found some cool headlights and clear corners and stuff made for S-10s, but they look like they'd fit my Blazer too, so that's some more stuff.
